Place

Since 2021, we have collaborated with artists and communities to create 12 public artworks across Merseyside.

To date, we have worked with artists Emma Colbert, Billy Colours, Frances Disley, Faunagraphic, Cherie Grist, Nomad Clan, Annie Nicholson, Jo Peel and Carrie Reichardt. Each piece has been made with communities local to the artwork's location, including Holy Spirit Primary School; SHAP housing residents, women from CGL St Helens; Huyton residents, businesses and shopkeepers; young people from The Lee Cooper Foundation and Newton Community Centre, and staff from Northern.

Each artwork is unique to the location and the people involved, and created by artists specialising in art forms from graffiti art, to mosaic murals to ceramic sculpture.

Together in Love and Courage

Fandangoe Kid and Change Grow Live have worked together to design an exciting new large scale mural for St Helens town centre.

Artist Faunagraphic collaborated with SHAP to create a huge new mural on Tickle Avenue in Parr.

Artist Frances Disley has created a new trail of sculptural artworks for Halewood Triangle Park in collaboration with residents from Halewood. Pick up a map at Halewood Environment Centre and follow the trail.

Queer Eutopia

A mural exploring what a more inclusive and welcoming world would look like for everyone, especially for those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Welcome Home

Together with local residents and business owners from Huyton Village, artist Jo Peel has created a new mural for the high street.

Together with residents and children from two local schools, artist Cherie Grist is creating a colourful mural for Stockbridge Village.
