Join us for a very special people's parade, celebrating the everyday heroes who make our town the special place it is!

As part of St Helens 150, in partnership with St Helens Council - a year of celebrating the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Royal Charter which incorporated the borough - St Helens Days Parade featuting the Mayor is an opportunity for the whole town to come out and celebrate.

Incredible performance artists Eggs Collective will lead a colourful family friendly procession across the town centre, featuring hundreds of individuals from local community groups, the Mayor and Mayoress, musical performances and vintage vehicles from the North West Museum Of Road Transport.

Eggs Collective, along with designers and artists have worked with 16 community groups from March - June, making banners and personalised decorations which will showcase their work as part of the parade. Each group has nominated their very own local hero, who will be celebrated as part of the final event.

Fancy dress encouraged.

Parade starts at 10.45am from St Helens Town Hall. FREE, no booking required.

After the parade, you're invited to a special mass-karaoke session led by Eggs Collective in Church Square. We'll sing our hearts out to an absolute pop classic in celebration of St Helens Day. Expect face-painting, street performances and more!

You can learn the parts to the mass-karaoke song with the below video or by visiting our youtube page
