As our most recent round of Prototype Projects comes to a close, you’re invited to an informal event to learn more about the St Helens and Knowsley based artists we've been working with.
At the end of last year, 26 artists and collectives from across St Helens and Knowsley applied for Prototype Projects support, of which we were able to select five projects. This gathering is a platform for some of the artists we worked with to share their practice. Expect to see a display of artwork from across the projects and a number of short presentations, with the opportunity to share knowledge, skills and ideas together.
We will also be revealing some exciting news about Heart of Glass’ autumn programme which will celebrate our communities’ love and appreciation of the environment. The next round of Prototype Projects will invite artists to respond to these themes and collaborate with identified locations and communities that are based in the boroughs.
We look forward to seeing you there, and encourage you to bring ideas for potential Prototype Projects!
