Redeye, the Photography Network is delivering a photography training session in St Helens.

PhotoStories training

As part of the overall Culture Shifts programme, our North West based friends Redeye, the Photography Network are working with a host of photographers and our Culture Shift partner communities to further embed what it means to create your own Photo Story.

The Redeye team will deliver a training session to explore how to frame a series of images and how to edit and upload a series of photos.

The session will explore how when new collections and formations of images are placed together, we can create unique and alternative narratives about the place and people around us.

The session includes both practical information around creating quality images and creative skills sharing around how to make a strong narrative with a series of images.

Participants are encouraged to bring their cameras and/or camera phones.

Culture Shifts project is a new and exciting socially engaged photography programme from Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool. Working with ten national and international photographers embedded in communities across seven areas of Liverpool City Region it aims to support communities to explore their stories in a way that is meaningful to them.
