Behind the Scenes of The Suicide Chronicles

16th Sep 2022

To share insight into the processes and experiences of creating and sharing The Suicide Chronicles, we have recorded a series of conversations with the creators of the project.

The Suicide Chronicles is a vital and beautifully created body of work which has been slowly developing over the past four years. The project, led by Mark Storor and an incredibly committed growing team of collaborators, continues to ask timely questions and share experiences which demand our careful attention, to explore how we might collectively create a language to share our experiences of suicide.

The Suicide Chronicles asks; what's important? How are we responsible for each other? What kind of world do we want to live in and how do we want to hold each other within it?

To share insight into the processes and experiences of creating and sharing The Suicide Chronicles, we have recorded a series of conversations with the creators of the project.

“Angela is the perfect host for these conversations, bringing a wealth of knowledge around suicide and bereavement, as well as from her experience in the arts, to the discussion. We thank Pete, Jo, Lisa and Mark for their openness and generosity in sharing their experiences of creating the Chronicles with us.” - Emily Gee, Senior Producer, Heart of Glass

We hope that you enjoy these behind the scenes views into the making of The Suicide Chronicles, hosted by Angela Samata, recorded and mixed by George Maund and have a soundtrack specially composed by Andrew PM Hunt.
