We are delighted to be working with Knowsley Safari on a new project with artist and Lou Chapelle and families from Knowsley as part of our Creative People and Places programme.
Together, they’ve been dreaming up a brand new artwork that will form part of Knowsley Safari’s annual festive trail Enchanted.
Lou and the group have been working with the park’s conservation team and finding inspiration in Knowsley Safari’s woodland setting and the critically endangered Père David’s deer herd who roam it.
The artwork hologram-like audio visual spectacle explores the magic, myth and mysticism that these ‘guardians of the forest’ have inspired in cultures across the world.
