Annie Nicholson

Annie Nicholson, aka Fandangoe Kid, is a London-based print artist who seeks to smash the taboos surrounding complex subject matters such as loss, trauma, mental health, and gender constructs.

She has recently completed a feature for Channel 4, a large-scale mural for YouTube, a digital piece for Sadiq Khan’s charity Thrive and collaborated with Marie Curie and the NHS to redesign nurse’s scrubs to celebrate International Year of the Nurse.

Through her narrative driven public pieces, Annie’s art always aims to create a platform for dialogue, especially with young people. She has worked with groups in Hackney and inner-city London for over a decade, encouraging them to better understand who they are by undertaking creative practice.
