Rhonda Davies
Rhonda Davies is a multidisciplinary visual artist and printmaker born and living in Liverpool. Her work includes screen printing, drawing, collage and photomontage, ceramics, set and prop making, animation, video and performance.
Her work often explores autobiographical themes: drawing inspiration from the humour and tragedy of events growing up in an what some would describe as an “underclass household” creating fantasy narratives, satire or escaping reality altogether.
Her commercial work includes graphic design and illustration including film and tour poster art, logo design and branding for pop up restaurants and independent small businesses.
As a socially engaged practitioner, Rhonda recently establishing a community collage club and community print workshop -Liverpool Community Print Station CIC. Working to broaden accessibility to screen printing, improve mental health through creativity and tackle classism within the arts.
As part of Prints n Tha collective, Rhonda helps organise a community centred Zine Fair (Zine Station) hosted in Metal Culture at Edge Hill Train Station.
