Emma Colbert-Mooring is a queer multidisciplinary artist and designer from Blackburn. From her studio practice ‘You Good Studio’ based at the independent gallery PRISM Contemporary, she explores the use of colour and composition to create vibrant abstract work primarily through printmaking, painting, and mural creation.

Emma explores how colour can add value and positively transform a space for those who inhabit it with her energetic, playful, and bold designs.

Emma has worked with a number of organisations on a variety of projects and commissions such as Vintage by the Sea, BBC Bitesize, Blackburn Council, National Festival of Making, Community Clothing, Tate Liverpool, British Textile Biennial and has exhibited in various galleries.
