Christopher Brett Bailey

Christopher Brett Bailey is a writer, musician and performer. He has co-written a feature film with Terry Gilliam, and has a TV sitcom stuck in development hell. His critically acclaimed stage show THIS IS HOW WE DIE received the Arches Brick Award, an Off West End Award, and was shortlisted for Stückemarkt, Berliner Festpiele.

Other writing includes a novella, I SAW SATAN AT THE 7-ELEVEN (Spender Books), a book of short stories, SUICIDE NOTES (Oberon Books), and a punk-rock-opera, THE INCONSIDERATE ABERRATIONS OF BILLY THE KID, which won a Three Weeks Editors Choice Award at Edinburgh Fringe and a cover story on the Guardian’s G2 Magazine.

Acting credits include National Theatre, BBC, Unicorn Theatre, collaborations with members of SHUNT, and the late great Ken Campbell. As musician, Bailey is ½ of ambient music duo Moon Ate the Dark, and leader of noise guitar ensemble THIS MACHINE WON'T KILL FASCISTS BUT IT MIGHT GET YOU LAID. He lives in London with two cats and his much better half.
