23 On Now

Bea Albanese is a poet, writer, and performer with a special interest in using artwork and performance as a form of gentle activism to highlight issues surrounding the environment, disability, ethnicity, and queerness.

Bea believes conversation and compassion can be harnessed as tools to bring about positive change, making an impact on both a local and global scale. Having lived a life of margins, between cultures, gender and sexuality norms, health and disability, Bea aims to guide people through these spaces with art, creating meaningful discussion, a deeper understanding, and acts of hope.
