Andrew Small
Andrew is interested in the intersection of art and design in public and private spaces. Over the last 25 years, he’s collaborated with arts organisations, galleries, local councils, developers, consultants, architects, designers, and many communities on site-specific projects.
Teaching and community engagement are a vital part of his practice. Currently, he is consulting as the Head of Learning for a CIC (Community Interest Company) and working on the development of two new commissions in the regeneration scheme for Castleford Town Centre. His involvement includes a new sculptural installation for the revamped Henry Moore Square and a large bronze cast marking the original Roman Fort, alluding to the once-significant Roman presence in the area.
